Fantastic Finnish

Finland has been found to have the best education system in the world.

The Children in Finland don’t begin school until age seven.

Finland heavily subsidizes daycare for children, and 97 percent of Finnish children attend preschool, which starts at age five, and emphasizes playing and socializing.

After their nine-year basic education in a comprehensive school, students at the age of 16 may choose to continue their secondary education in either an academic track or a vocational track, both of which usually take three years and give a qualification to continue to tertiary education.
