Exams can be a daunting time for even the most diligent students. Avoiding exams blues is as important as coming out with flying colours in the exams. The last minute stress may sweat you out and go blank in the examination hall. A good performance in the examination is an accessory to a successful future.

Here are some of the last minute tips to relieve you from the exam stress and anxiety:

  1. Do last year question papers:  There is a finite number of questions that will be asked in the question paper. Make yourself familiarise with these questions by solving the previous year question papers and sample papers. If you are one of those who does revision at the last moment, this piece of advice should be taken heed to.
  2. Eat healthily: Eat healthy and everything else will fall into place. Having a healthy diet will able you to focus on the task at hand and not worry about everything else having a bad memory, physical weakness, stress. The right amount of minerals, iron, and vitamin will be provided by fruits and vegetables and also keep you and your bodily functions energetic throughout. Avoid any kind of junk food and having anything which contains saturated fat. Intake of a lot of caffeinated drinks is also not proved to be helpful as it will keep you awake for the next 8 to 10 hours but you might just crash during the exams.
  3. Be positive and relax: Keeping the negative vibes off your mind and being in a happy state of mind is one of the keys to performing well during exams.
  1. Listen to a soothing and relaxing music for a joyful soul. Make sure the music you are listening to does not put you to sleep.
  2. Exercise your body. Exercise improves the flow of blood on your body which implies the transportation of more oxygen on your brain. Good supply of oxygen to the brain helps it to function efficiently.
  3. Mediation and yoga have been age-old medicines for stress and anxiety. Take a deep breath, meditate for few minutes till you calm yourself and chill. All is well.
  1. Sound sleep: A healthy body and mind will keep the stressful soul at bay and helps in rejuvenation. Having a 6 to 7-hour sleep is essential for any student who is preparing for exams. Pulling an all-night study session without the appropriate amount of sleep would lead to fatigue in the examination hall. Sleep deprivation has a consequent effect on memory loss. The ability to maintain concentration and memory recall is maintained and improved when the individual gets a good amount of rest.

Following these simple tips will be beneficial and you will have a good time dealing with the exam monsters that used to take a toll on you.
