સૂર્યના ઉત્સેધકોણનું માપ 30 થી વધીને 60 થતાં એક ઈમારતના પડછાયાની લંબાઈમાં 10મી ઘટાડો થાય છે. તો ઈમારતની ઊંચાઈ શોધો.

જમીન પર એક ટાવર શિરોલંબ સ્થિતિમાં છે. તેના પાયાથી 100 મીટર દૂર રહેલા એક બિંદુથી ટાવરની ટોચના ઉત્સેધકોણનું માપ 60 છે, તો ટાવરની ઉંચાઈ શોધો.

નાળિયેરીનું એક ઝાડ વાવાઝોડાને કારણે તૂટી પડતાં તેનો ઉપરનો ટુકડો જમીન સાથે 30 માપનો ખુણો બનાવે તેમ સ્પર્શે છે. ઝાડના થડથી ટોચનું અંતર 15 મી હોય, તો ઝાડની ઉંચાઈ શોધો.
