If the magnitude of the two forces are 2 and 3 and the magnitude of their scalar product is 3square root of 2, then find the angle between the vectors. 


Here, A = 2; B = 3 and A. B = 3square root of 2,

We know that, 

A. B = AB cos straight theta 

So, cosstraight theta = fraction numerator straight A with rightwards harpoon with barb upwards on top space. space straight B with rightwards harpoon with barb upwards on top over denominator AB end fraction space equals space fraction numerator 3 square root of 2 over denominator 2 space cross times space 3 end fraction space equals space fraction numerator 1 over denominator square root of 2 end fraction = cos 45o

That is  straight theta  = 45o, is the angle between the vectors.
