Comment on the attitude shown by Taplow towards Crocker-Harris.


Taplow thinks his teacher Mr Crocker-Harris is strict but not a sadist. He thinks that the teacher is unbiased, dutiful and very disciplined. He doesn't get easily impressed by anyone's efforts. He doesn't appreciate the effort of Taplow who comes to school on the last as he misses one class before. He doesn't like to be liked by others. He seems feeling less and maintains a distance from the students.
