11.

Nine years later, age of B will be equal to the present age of A. Sum of A's age 3 years later and B's age 4 years ago is 76. If C is half of the present age of B, then what will be C's age (in years) after 10 years?

  • 32 years

  • 36 years

  • 27 years

  • 31 years

C.

27 years

Let B's present age  = x years
∴   C's present age = (x/2) years
    A's Present age = (x + 9) years
According to the question,
          (x + 9 + 3) + (x - 4) = 76
           2x + 8 = 76
              2x = 68,  ⟹  x = 34
∴   C's age after 10 years = (x/2 + 10) = (34/2 + 10) = 17 + 10 = 27 years.
