Exam Pattern:

The Examination will be conducted in four tiers as indicated below:

Tier – I -- Computer Based Examination

Tier – II -- Computer Based Examination

Tier – III -- Pen and Paper Mode (Descriptive paper)

Tier – IV -- Computer Proficiency Test/Skill Test (wherever applicable)/Document verification

The Skill test will be conducted in the manner decided by the Commission for the
purpose.

Generally, The “Data Entry Speed Test” / Skill Test will be conducted for a passage of about
2000 (two thousand) key depressions for a duration of 15 (fifteen) minutes.

The Commission will hold Computer Proficiency Test (CPT), comprising of three modules:

  1. Word Processing
  2. Spread Sheet
  3. Generation of Slides, for the posts of Assistant Section Officers.
