SSC - CHSL Eligibility

Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India). Foreigners and NRI cannot apply for the CHSL Exam.

Age Limit: Minimum Age limit for SSC CHSL Exam is 18 years and Maximum Age is 27 years. The relaxation in upper age is permissible as per the norms of SSC CHSL (10+2) level exam.

Attempts: Until you have an age advantage, you can appear for this examination ‘n’ of times.

Educational Qualification:

  1. The minimum qualification to apply for this Exam is 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
  2. For Data Entry Operator in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

Reservation:

Reservation for Scheduled Castes(SC), Scheduled Tribes(ST), Other Backward Classes(OBC) Ex-Serviceman(EXS) and Physically Handicapped(PH) candidates for all categories of posts/services, wherever applicable and admissible, would be as determined and communicated by the Indenting Ministries/Departments/ Offices/ Cadres, as per extant Government Orders.
