Each high Courts consist of a Chief Justice and such other judges as the President of India may appoint from time to time.
A person to be appointed as a judge of a high court, should be a citizen of India. Further,
(i) He should have held a judicial office in the territory of India for ten years or
(ii) Should have been an advocate of high court(s) for ten years.
State the term of office of the Judges of the High Court. Explain when and how the Judges can be removed from Office.
Name the three types of courts at the district level. Explain the different categories of cases that fall under the jurisdiction of each.
