1.PAUSE AND BREATHE

Whenever you face a deluge of an unsolicited emotion, procrastinate the rush action. How? As simple as it sounds, click a pause button, take deep breathes on the count of three, five, or ten.

Don't think I am advising you to suppress your feelings, no, not at all! I am simply recommending to take a short respite and give yourself the time you need to analyze the situation.

Once you are in full conformity with your emotion and the circumstance, you are in a better position to manage things well.

2.RECOGNIZE YOUR EMOTIONS

Think of it like this, a person close to your heart has all of a sudden started overlooking you. You text them, but they are replying after 4-5 hours. What is the first thing you feel? Upset, anger, melancholy!

You cry, shout, and hurl your phone across the wall- does that solve any purpose? Or if you are outrageous kind, you call them and start rebuking them with all your might. In both cases, the solution is a far cry for you.

What should you do? Sit down and think of questions like What am I feeling right now? Why do I feel so? Is there any possibility of a different situation at the other end of the phone? May your friend is grappling with a catch- 22 situation?

What may be the right thing to do? Call them up and ask if they are OK? Do they need your help? The way I see things would turn around pretty good if you follow such demeanor at all times.

3.EMOTION ACCEPTANCE

Emotions are a part of you, and there is no way you can escape them. Hence, the best thing to do is to accept them as they broil. Without embracing sadness, you can't realize the essence of happiness. Consequently, a balance of all the emotions is what makes you- YOU!

As a result, shake hands with all your hues and embrace them, become friends with these emotions so that you can manage them well.  Befriending emotions will make you fully feel them and evade reacting in a frenzied manner.

4.IDENTIFY WHEN TO EXPRESS YOURSELF

We all have been there when we want to be frantic, cry profusely buried in our pillow, or scream like hell. But there has to be an accurate time and place for this emotional outburst.

5.MEDITATION-TRY IT OUT!

More and more people have embraced meditation, if you already have, you are on the right track. If not, it's never too late to start a good thing. Meditation enables you to become self-aware of yourself, your feelings, and your emotions without being judgemental at all.

It's ok to be not okay! It's okay to be hurt! It's okay to be sad! You are a human, and it's ok to feel things. You don't have to necessarily hush them away or try to change them. Meditate and feel these emotions growing within you.

1.COMMITMENT

The first step to be disciplined is to be committed to your aims, objectives, and goals. It should be a far cry from writing in the air instead, it should be like being grounded with your goals. Chasing down that commitment, ooze towards it with your absolute might.

2.DISCARD DISTRACTIONS

3.DEVELOP HABITS

Developing actionable habits is the right thing to do to empower yourself. While it may seem hard at once, but once you get the hang of it-forming habits can be interesting and amusing. Want to know how? Here's what you can do. 

Start small- Remember- "Rome wasn't built in a day." Likewise, you don't have to read a whole book in one day to develop a reading habit. Even if you begin with a single page or single chapter, you can pat yourself. Similarly, whatever habit you wish to ensue, start doing it for 5, 10, or 15 minutes as per time at your hand.

As you start to enjoy it, you will tend to increase the time for that habit naturally. Try it yourself! Sure it works wonders!

Stick one habit to another- Here is an example, you want to develop a habit to cleanse your face at night. You already have a habit of brushing your teeth before sleeping; all you have to do is to tenace the cleansing habit post brushing. Now, whenever you brush your teeth, your mind elementally pushes you to cleanse your face alongside.

4.EVERYDAY GOOD HABITS

Timely sleep, exercise, meditation, and nutritious food are some of the things that are the backbone of our robust body. 5.LEARN TO SAY NO

Knowing when to step out or say NO to someone is a virtue and not malice. There is no harm in setting boundaries and saying NO to someone as long as you are doing things with bona fide intentions. If you avert distractions even at the cost of saying NO to someone to make yourself room for accomplishing goals- there is no harm in it!

6.GIVE WEIGHTAGE TO MIND OVER MOOD

We all get caught up in the vicious spiral of mind and mood games at some in life. While mood lures us with all its mighty powers, the moral lies in following your mind and work on a disciplined path. No matter how hard it sounds, always choose your mind over your mood.

7.STICK TO ROUTINE

8.SET PRECISE GOAL

Setting vague goals doesn't lead you anywhere. Try to be as specific as you can with your goals. The more the specific goal is, the higher are the chances of achieving it. Thereby, try to form precise goals which you can measure and aim to achieve swiftly.

Working tasks, replying to emails, attending meetings, besides job-specific tasks is a universal everyday overhaul of any working person. Even after leveraging extra hours- the work task doesn't seem to end. And amidst all these demanding responsibilities- family time and "me time" lose their place. But wait, how do other people manage to get the time? Everyone has 24 hours in a day- then what are they doing special? Scheduling- yeah, that's the answer to your definite problem. In this blog, we will speculate over what schedule is, what is the purpose of scheduling, and how you can put it into practice.

WHAT IS SCHEDULING?

Scheduling is the procedural plan set inline to herald all your daily tasks time and sequence of tasks. In the simplest terms, scheduling refers to the comprehensive plan of all your assigned workforce tasks and meetings. To be more specific and productive, you can also imbibe your family time and hobby, reading, and exercise time along with. 

The two tools that come in handy in the scheduling process are a to-do list/checklist and a calendar. While the former comprises all the listed tasks, the calendar executes the time assigned for tasks. They could be as general or as specific as you want them to be. 

By having your schedule in terms of the calendar, you can avert distractions and manage unsolicited appointments and interruptions accordingly. Whenever a person shows up out of the blue- you can have a quick glance at your calendar and ask them to come up in an empty slot time. 

WHY IS SCHEDULING IMPORTANT?

As we already know, scheduling is the art and science of prioritizing your tasks so as to be able to achieve your personal objectives in the virtuous time circle. With a refined scheduling process, you will be able to:

Take, for example, if are seeking a promotion, it would be rational for you to put in a few extra hours to flaunt your level of dedication and perseverance. Contrariwise, you can call it a day as soon as the clock ticks end of the working day hour. 

STEP 2: PICK UP FUNDAMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Make a list of your everyday roles and responsibilities that you must fulfill as a designator. If you are a teacher, you must take up your lectures or, if you are a writer, you must write up some good content. Likewise, whatever job you ensue, highlight your everyday task list in the checklist or to-do list. 

These form your most essential responsibilities that you cannot overlook every day. Don't fill up all your time slots and workspace with everyday tasks because there is a lot more that you need to fit into your schedule for the day. 

STEP 3: GIVE PREFERENCE TO PRIORITY AND URGENT TASKS

Next, come to the high-priority and urgent tasks- these are the tasks that need your utmost attention and time. There is no possible way for you to avoid or avert them.

Knowing the importance and effectiveness of these desperate priority tasks, try to block them into the hours when you find yourself most productive. You may or may not be comfortable distinguishing about your highly productive hours unless you are self-aware.

Let me break it down for you. As a matter of fact, there are some people who are most valuable in the morning hours, and others are there who are night owls-working up late makes them most useful. Despite, these there could be any other time of the day when you convict yourself of being most serviceable.

All you have to do is recognize your efficaciousness and book that time for your high-priority, urgent, and demanding assignments. 

STEP 4: SCHEDULE CONTINGENCY TIME

Unsolicited contingencies and predicaments spook us by and large every day. Not sparing out time for this capricious hour will leave you working extra hours in the office, hence it is always beneficial to keep aside some time for contingency circumstances. 

Setting aside a time slab for contingency will make you resilient to pan out success in case of rearranging tasks while handling issues at hand as soon as they foster. 

STEP 5: SCHEDULE TIME FOR FAMILY, EXERCISE, HOBBIES, AND SOCIAL LIFE

All these factors make you feel vivacious, high-spirited, and humane. Therefore, sparing out ample time for all these people and activities is quintessentially imperative.
