Mahima plays basketball. Elaborate four important features she checks while selecting the fabric for her sports dress? Also, state six instructions she should give to the tailor for satisfactory workmanship for this dress?

Fabric should be-

  1. The fabric of the dress should be stretchable.
  2. It should absorb perspiration easily and air permeable.
  3. It should be of good conductivity
  4. Strong, durable and easy to maintain.

Workmanship:

  1. It should be stitched with matching, contrasting and strong thread.
  2. Pockets should be deep and reinforced.
  3. Print of different parts should be aligned.
  4. Waist bends should have enough loops for belt.
  5. Stress areas should be reinforced with double thread so that it does not get trimmed easily.
  6. Plackets should be stitched well.
