(i) Biodiversity : Biodiversity refers to the variety of organisms existing on earth, their inter relationship and their relationship with the environment.
(ii) Species : A group of population which are capable of inter breeding is called species.
(iii) Endemic Species : Species of plants and animals confined to specific geographical areas are called endemic species.
(iv) Extinct Species : Species that no longer exist anywhere on Earth are called extinct species.
(v) Endangered Species : Species that are in danger of getting extinct are called endangered species.
