Science Medical stream, also called Science Group A is for students aspiring to take up careers in medicine or dental studies, or any other medical field. Medical stream opens the wide range of career options after class 12 such as Doctor, Pharmacy, Bachelor in Biology, Forensic science, Scientist, Lab Technician, Nutrition and Dietetics and others.

Yes, the difficulty level of both the streams is same. Can I choose the combination of PCMB in class 11?

Yes, you can take all 4 subjects in class 11; Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. If you are not sure whether you would like to pursue medicine, engineering or any other science course, then you can choose both Biology and Mathematics (PCMB). There are schools in India which allows PCMB combination in class 11. But, this too varies from school to school.
