Kupffer cells are the phagocytic cells present over the lining of sinusoids in liver. They destroy WBCs and RBCs and bacteria.

Small intestine consists of paneth cells and Argentaffin cells secreting digestive enzymes. They are present on tubular pits of intestinal glands known as crypts of Lieberkuhn.

Pancreas consists of groups of cells, islets of Langerhans which contain 4 types of cells- Alpha cells, Beta cells, Delta cells and F- cells.

Thyroid gland consists of spherical sacs called thyroid follicles. Its wall is made up of two types of cells- Principal cells and Parafollicular cells.
