Freundlich proposed following empirical equation
= k p1/n or log = log k + log p
where w is the mass of gas adsorbed on a mass m of adsorbent at a pressure p , k and n are constant , which are depend on nature of the gas and the adsorbent and on temperature .
Note : Freundlich isotherm is not applicable at high pressure .
