Since, it is a regular glass prism.

So ∠A = 60°

∴ ∠MNP = 60°

Refractive index μ of the prism is given by,

straight mu space equals space fraction numerator 1 over denominator sin space 60 to the power of straight o end fraction

straight mu space equals space fraction numerator 1 over denominator square root of 3 divided by 2 end fraction space equals space fraction numerator 2 over denominator square root of 3 end fraction
