(i)The valleys are formed by the rivers.

(ii)These are level plains. The fertile soil is brought by the rivers.

(i)A long narrow longitudinal valley is termed dun.

(ii)They are mostly found in Lesser Himalayas such as Dehradun, Kothari Dun and Patli Dun.
