Hanging Gardens of Babylon was one of the classic Seven Wonders of the World. It is thought to have been built in the ancient city of Babylon.
The gardens were built high above the ground on multi-level stone terraces and was therefore called hanging gardens. The plants were not rooted in the ground below like a traditional garden.
The most popular theory has it that the king Nebuchadnezzar II built these gardens to make his wife happy who was homesick for the plants and gardens of her homeland.
Historians and archaeologists believe that the gardens did exist and natural calamities and erosion destroyed them over time.

Isn't it too wonderful that this place is still alive and looking perfectly despite of no one taking care of it personally? Isn't it a very gorgeous and magnificent scenery where you can celebrate the goodness of our Creator ?
I've read something about Babylon, and it said that the place was cursed and no one could enter even the gates of it. But still this hanging garden is still in place and in fact, it is one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
What an awesome place to go to!
