પૃષ્ઠફળ અને ઘનફળ

ઘરમાં રાખવાનું એક નાનું લંબઘન ગ્રીનહાઉસ (તળિયા સહિત) કાચની તકતીઓથી બનાવેલું છે. કાચની તકતીઓની ઘાર ટેપથી જોડેલી છે. આ ગ્રીનહાઉસ 40 સેમી લાંબું, 30 સેમી પહોળું અને 25 સેમી ઊંચું છે.
(1) વપરાયેલ કાચની તકતીઓનું ક્ષેત્રફળ શોધો.
(2) ગ્રીનહાઉસની ચાર દીવાલોને રંગકામ કરાવવા માટે 1 મી ક્ષેત્રફળના ₹ 500 લેખે કેટલો ખર્ચ આવશે ?

એક ઘનાકાર પેટી 15 સેમી લાંબી છે. બીજી લંબઘનાકાર પેટી 25 સેમી લાંબી, 20 સેમી પહોળી અને 10 સેમી ઊંચી છે.
(1) કઈ પેટીનાં પાર્શ્વ પૃષ્ઠોનું ઓછું છે ? કેટલું ?
(2) કઈ પેટીનું કુલ પૃષ્ઠફળ વધુ છે ? કેટલું ?

નીચેના કોષ્ટકમાં આપેલી માહિતી પરથી દરેક હારમાં આપેલી ખાલી જગ્યાઓ પૂરો :

એક રૂમની લંબાઈ 10 મીટર, પહોળાઈ 8 મીટર અને ઊંચાઈ 5 મીટર છે, તો તેની છત અને ચારેય દિવાલોનું ક્ષેત્રફળ શોધો. ચાર દીવાલ અને છતને ચૂનો લગાડવા માટે 1 મી ક્ષેત્રફળના ₹ 15 લેખે કુલ કેટલો ખર્ચ થાય ?

અહી, લંબઘન રૂમ માટે લંબાઈ = l = 10 મી, પહોળાઈ = b = 8 મી અને ઊંચાઈ = h = 5 મી આપેલ છે.

આ રૂમની ચારેય પાર્શ્વ દીવાલો અને છતનું ક્ષેત્રફળ :
