ભૌતિકવિજ્ઞાન ધોરણ 12 [Bhautik Vigyan Dhoran 12] એ માત્ર બોર્ડ પરીક્ષા માટે જ નહી પરંતું સ્પર્ધાત્મક પરીક્ષાઓ માટે પણ અગત્યનો વિષય છે. ધોરણ 12 Science ની A, B અને AB એમ ત્રણેય સ્ટ્રીમમાં ભણતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ ભૌતિકવિજ્ઞાન ભણવાનું હોય છે. વળી, સ્પર્ધાત્મક પરીક્ષાઓમાં ધોરણ 11 ના પાઠ્યપુસ્તક તથા ધોરણ 12 ના પાઠ્યપુસ્તકનું વેઇટેજ વધુ હોવાથી કાળજી જરૂરી છે. આપણે સૌ જાણીએ છીએ કે હવેથી સિમેસ્ટર સિસ્ટમના બદલે વાર્ષિક અભ્યાસક્રમ થવાથી ભૌતિકવિજ્ઞાન ધોરણ 12 ના પાઠ્યપુસ્તક માંથી જ બોર્ડ પરીક્ષાનું પેપર આવનાર છે. જે બોર્ડનું પરિણામ નક્કી કરશે.
ધોરણ 12 ભૌતિકવિજ્ઞાન નો અભ્યાસક્રમ એ જુના સિમેસ્ટર 3 અને સિમેસ્ટર 4 ને ભેગા કરી સળંગ વાર્ષિક અભ્યાસક્રમ નક્કી કરાયેલ છે. ગુજરાત રાજ્ય પાઠ્યપુસ્તક મંડળ દ્વારા તૈયાર કરાયેલ આ પુસ્તકો ખુબજ કાળજી પૂર્વક અને કઠિન મહેનતના અંતે તૈયાર થયેલ છે. જેમાં વિદ્યુતભાર, વિદ્યુતક્ષેત્ર, કૅપેસિટન્સ, વિદ્યુતપ્રવાહ અને તેની ચુંબકીય અસરો, પ્રકાશશાસ્ત્ર, દ્રવ્યનો દ્વૈત સ્વભાવ વગેરે જેવા વિદ્યુતને લગતા ટૉપીક ઉપરાંત પરમાણુઓ, ન્યુક્લિયસ, સેમીકન્ડક્ટર વગેરે ટૉપીકનો પણ સમાવેશ કરેલ છે. આમ, ભૌતિકશાસ્ત્રને લગતાં પાયાના અભ્યાસ માટે આદર્શ અભ્યાસક્રમનો સમાવેશ કરેલ છે. વિશેષમાં પ્રકરણ મુજબ સંપૂર્ણ અભ્યાસક્રમ પ્રશ્નોત્તર સ્વરૂપે નીચે પ્રમાણે છે:
