CBSE New Curriculum : Latest Examination Assessment

The Objective of CBSE (Central Board of Secondary education), to define appropriate approaches of academic activities to provide a stress-free environment to the student and give holistic education to all children without compromising on quality. Every year Central Board ensures the quality of academic activities by collecting the feedback from different stakeholders.

On the basis of the analysis, Central Board tries to develop norms for the implementation of various academic activities including quality issues.Also, the Central Board try to adapt and innovative methods to achieve academic excellence in conformity with psychological, pedagogical and social principles. Central Board had given a clear guideline to schools and teachers to documents the progress of students in a friendly way.

In this year (2017-18) new CBSE curriculum design in such a way which raise the academic standards of the country. The focus of the Central Board is to provide skill learning course by adding job-oriented and job-linked inputs. CBSE NCERT Syllabus of all class for Vocational courses effective for the Academic Session 2017 – 2018. The syllabus of class 9 and 10 includes a sample paper design for the coming board exam 2017 – 18. The vocational subject can be offered as an additional (optional) subject in combination with five core Academic subjects.

Board has suggested to schools to set benchmarks for the quality education with the national goals. In the 2017-18 CBSE (central Board of secondary education) has formally replaced the comprehensive evaluation (CCE) scheme with a new format – a uniform system of assessment examination and report card for class VI to IX from the coming academic year (2017-2018). CBSE fulfil the educational requirements of those students whose parents were employed in transferable jobs.

A notification was released on 31-01-2017, for the class X board latest examination assessment, the dual scheme of examination for class X known hitherto as Scheme -I and Scheme-II should stand to discontinue for the students appearing in class -X from the Academic Year 2017-18 and onwards. The latest assessment structure for the class X is shown here.

This notification is applied all concerned schools under Central Board of Secondary education Jurisdiction.
