CBSE 10 Class 2018 Result Analysis

The Result of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 10 exam had declared on 29 May 2018. Class 10 result declared after 2 days of the announcement of Class 12 results.

Four students top the exam with 499 marks; Girls outclass boys in pass percentage

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared Class X results today. Thiruvananthapuram performed best amongst all regions with 99.60 % pass percentage followed by Chennai region with 97.37 % while Ajmer stands at third position with 91.86 % pass percentage. This year 16,24,682 students appeared in  10 exams out of which 14,08,594 students had passed the exam. The overall pass percentage of this year is 86.70. Four students have topped the exam with 499 total marks. Details of the toppers are as follows:

Examination statistics was

The total pass percentage of boys is 85.32 % while pass percentage of girls is 88.67 % which is 3.35 % better than boys. 1,31,493 students scored more than 90% while 27,476 students scored more than 95% in this exam. This year CBSE conducted Class X exam from 5th March 2018 to 4th April 2018. Some more details are as follows:

Last year number of schools registered for class 10 and class 12 were 15,309 and 10,678. This year the count has been increased to 16,363 for class 10 and for class 12, the increased figure was 11,235. This year, 19,85,397 students from classes 10 and 12 appeared for the board examinations.
