A Spider's web is one of the nature's greatest engineering. The silk which used to make the web is produced in silk glands. With the help of spinnerets spider spin web.


Spinnerets are special organs that allow the spider to decide what type of thread it needs for the web.The silk threads can be thick or thin, dry or sticky, beaded or smooth.


Spider spin web for their food. When an insects stuck on their web, they catch the insects and uses its fango to inject venom. The venom either kills or paralyses the insect, allowing the spider to enjoy its food in peace.
