One month to go for the final 2018 CBSE board exam. The exam pattern for CBSE Social Science will be the same as the previous one. The overall Social Science CBSE board exam contains 100marks.


The Marks has been distributed in two parts:

  1. I) Theory Exam
  2. II) Project Work

The Theory Exam has a total of 27 Questions and the maximum time allotted is 3 hrs. The total weightage for the theory paper is 80 marks.

The Project work carries total 20 marks. Project topic is provided by schools to their students. The project marks are evaluated by schools and submitted to the board.


The CBSE 2018 Class X Date sheet will release in the first week of January.

The 2018 CBSE theory exam will be from 1 week of March.
